While the Lucente treatment is designed to minimize downtime, individuals may experience some temporary redness. It is a common and expected reaction that typically subsides within 30-90 mins.

• Maintain skin hydration before and after your appointment.
• Refrain from alcohol consumption within 24 hours before your treatment.
• Avoid using exfoliating products for 24 hours prior to your appointment.
• Discontinue retinol (2% or higher) or tretinoin at least for 7 days before your treatment.
• Avoid self-tanning products and UV exposure for 14 days leading up to your appointment.
• Avoid waxing, bleaching, or hair removal for 14 days prior to your treatment.
• Discontinue use of blood thinners, aspirin or anti-inflammatory medications at least 3 days prior to the treatment.
• On the treatment day, please refrain from applying makeup.
• If you plan to have Botox or fillers, allow a minimum of 2 weeks after your Botox appointment before scheduling your treatment.
• Avoid any laser treatments 4 weeks prior to the treatment.

Results vary based on your skin, the severity of pigmentation, and contributing factors such as hormones and sun exposure. Some clients notice brighter, clearer skin after their first Lucente treatment, while others require a series for optimal, long-term results. Your esthetician will evaluate your skin during your consultation and create a personalized treatment plan to support safe, effective, and lasting pigment correction.

Avoid makeup for 24 hours and use only skin-friendly makeup until your skin has fully healed.
Ensure your sheets and pillowcases are clean, especially on the first night after treatment.
Apply Lucente Home Cream as directed by your esthetician.
Do not use an electrically powered cleansing brush for at least 7 days after treatment.
For optimal results, a tinted mineral sunscreen SPF 30+ is required throughout the Lucente Protocol.
Avoid tanning beds and direct sunbathing for at least 3 days post-treatment.
Refrain from swimming, sauna use, and vigorous exercise for at least 72 hours.
Avoid laser treatments on the treated area for at least 2 months.
Refrain from using AHA, retinol, or any active products for the entire duration of the Lucente Protocol.
Return for your follow-up treatment as recommended by your esthetician.
