While the Angelic Face treatment at Skin Rehab Beverly Hills is designed to minimize downtime, individuals may experience some temporary redness. It is a common and expected reaction that typically subsides within a few hours.

While you will notice great results with one session of Microchanneling, for a mild anti-aging or superficial wrinkle concern, we suggest a minimum of 4 sessions, while deeper wrinkles and scars may benefit from 6-8 sessions.

• Maintain skin hydration before and after your appointment.
• Refrain from alcohol consumption within 24 hours before your treatment.
• Avoid using exfoliating products for 24 hours prior to your appointment.
• Discontinue retinol (2% or higher) or tretinoin at least for 7 days before your treatment.
• Avoid self-tanning products and UV exposure for 14 days leading up to your appointment.
• Avoid waxing, bleaching, or hair removal for 14 days prior to your treatment.
• Discontinue use of blood thinners, aspirin or anti-inflammatory medications at least 3 days prior to the treatment.
• On the treatment day, please refrain from applying makeup.
• If you plan to have Botox or fillers, allow a minimum of 2 weeks after your Botox appointment before scheduling your treatment.
• Avoid any laser treatments 4 weeks prior to the treatment.

While individuals may notice improvements after the first treatment, the full transformative effects tend to become more pronounced and enduring with each subsequent session.

• Avoid makeup for 24 hours, and make sure to use only skin care makeup until the skin has healed.
• Apply moisturizer recommended by your esthetician 2-3 times a day to moisturize your dry skin.
• Please use a soft cleanser and luke warm water to rinse your face for the next 3 days. Dry the treated area with a paper towel.
• Avoid using an electrically powered cleansing brush at least for next 7 days after the treatment.
• It is highly recommended that you use chemical free sunscreen for at least one week after the treatment.
• Please avoid tanning beds or sun bathing for the next 3 days of post treatment.
• Do not swim for the next 3 days.
• Avoid any hard work or exercise that may cause sweating and harm to the treated area.
• No contact with animals/pets near the treated area, or on your hands for 4 hours.
• Make sure your sheets and pillowcases are clean, especially for the first night.
• No laser treatments on the treated area for at least 2 months.
• Refrain from using AHA/retinol product for 2 weeks post treatment.
