There is typically minimal downtime associated with the treatment, making it a convenient option for busy individuals. Most individuals experience only temporary redness and mild skin tightness that subsides within 90 min after the treatment. People with sensitive skin might notice redness or swelling for 24 hours or more as the skin heals.

While you will notice great results after one session, for a mild anti-aging or superficial wrinkle concern, we suggest a minimum of 4 sessions, while deeper wrinkles and scars may benefit from 6-8 sessions.

• Maintain skin hydration before and after your appointment.
• Refrain from alcohol consumption within 24 hours before your treatment.
• Avoid using exfoliating products for 24 hours prior to your appointment.
• Discontinue retinol (2% or higher) or tretinoin at least for 7 days before your treatment.
• Avoid self-tanning products and UV exposure for 14 days leading up to your appointment.
• Avoid waxing, bleaching, or hair removal for 14 days prior to your treatment.
• Discontinue use of blood thinners, aspirin or anti-inflammatory medications at least 3 days prior to the treatment.
• On the treatment day, please refrain from applying makeup.
• If you plan to have Botox or fillers, allow a minimum of 2 weeks after your Botox appointment before scheduling your treatment.
• Avoid any laser treatments 4 weeks prior to the treatment.

• Avoid makeup for 24 hours, and make sure to use only skin care makeup until the skin has healed.
• Apply moisturizer recommended by your esthetician 2-3 times a day to moisturize your dry skin.
• Please use a soft cleanser and luke warm water to rinse your face for the next 3 days. Dry the treated area with a paper towel.
• Avoid using an electrically powered cleansing brush at least for next 7 days after the treatment.
• It is highly recommended that you use chemical free sunscreen for at least one week after the treatment.
• Please avoid tanning beds or sun bathing for the next 3 days of post treatment.
• Do not swim for the next 3 days.
• Avoid any hard work or exercise that may cause sweating and harm to the treated area.
• No contact with animals/pets near the treated area, or on your hands for 4 hours.
• Make sure your pillowcase is clean, especially for the first night.
• No laser treatments on the treated area for at least 2 months.
• Refrain from using AHA/retinol product for 2 weeks post treatment.
• Avoid taking NSAIDS (Aspirin, Aleve / Naproxen, Advil / Ibuprofen) for 72 hours prior and for 2 weeks after the procedure, because they can potentially lessen the effects of the treatment.
• Return for a follow-up treatment as recommended by your esthetician.
